Being a Room Parent for your child's class is a great opportunity to
help our teachers, see your child in his/her everyday world, and to meet
their friends and classmates. You truly are an integral part to our
success!
Every parent with a Preschool child is assigned to that room. All Day
School parents will be assigned to only one classroom, unless otherwise
requested. If you have more than one child at St. John's, and there are
enough helpers in your assigned room, feel free to float around and
visit the other classrooms during class parties.
Room Parents are also asked to work Market Day on one
or two occasions per year as indicated on the calendar in this
handbook. And, we appreciate your help in any other ways deemed
necessary. You will be contacted when help is needed.
