Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper
Shrove Tuesday is an age-old custom of feasting on rich foods and
sweets before beginning a Lenten fast. This dinner is intended to
enhance the meaning of Lent which begins the following day, Ash
Wednesday.
The menu includes pancakes (plain, blueberry and chocolate chip), bacon
or sausage, scrambled eggs, applesauce, coffee, juice and milk.
Twenty (20) workers are needed to prepare the food, sell tickets, and
service the tables.
