Kids will participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, dig into yummy treats, and experience electrifying Bible adventures.

Each day during this journey, the kids will use their boarding passes to enter Imagination Station, where they will use science activities to demonstrate the Bible point for the day in a unique and memorable way. And they will be excited to take those activities home to play with all summer long.

What is Vacation Bible School?

VBS is a week filled with Christ-centered activities, crafts, music, games and fun. It's an annual ministry outreach program that St. John's offers to educate children about God, while building a lifetime of memories and friendships.

It takes place each summer, usually during the third or fourth week of June, and runs from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday.

Children who have completed 3-year-old preschool through 5th grade are invited to participate in Vacation Bible School.

Volunteering for VBS

VBS is completely run by the generosity of volunteers; it cannot take place without the help of so many people. Preparation for VBS begins in January, and volunteers are always welcome, even up to the day VBS begins.

You can help with the planning, setting up, decorating, crafts, storytelling, snacks, games, breaking down the sets and much, much more.

If you prefer a hands-off approach, donations are always needed for crafts, decorations and snacks.

VBS can never have too many volunteers!
