Adopted by BOE: March 2, 2015 Implementation in full: August~2015
St. John’s Lutheran believes that, as Christians, all of our thoughts, words, and actions should bring honor and praise to our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Therefore, St. John’s wishes to develop a feeling for proper grooming and dress by creating an environment where students are not labeled or distracted by each other’s attire. Good grooming and a neat appearance not only reflect self-esteem but pride and a positive image that St. John’s Lutheran projects to the congregation, community, and our own families. Additionally, standardized dress often reduces the competition of keeping up with the latest trends and minimizes social.
