Take a night off from cooking, share in Christian Fellowship and worship with us during the Lenten Season! St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church & School in Downtown Algonquin invites the community to Wednesday Evening Lenten Suppers.

On Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., February 6 (Ash Wednesday) through March 12, various church organizations will sponsor and serve Lenten suppers for our worshipers, in the activity center.

Each week a different menu will be offered and publicized in the church bulletin announcements. Freewill offerings will be collected for these meals.

We hope everyone in our congregation will take advantage of these nights off from cooking, share in Christian fellowship, and worship often during the Lenten season.
