St. John’s Lutheran School was founded by St. John’s Lutheran Church in 1876 and began with a small enrollment of students in grades 1-8. Our first teacher was the Pastor of the church, who taught Religion, German, Reading, and Math. The school served grades 1st- 8th until 1973 when one of the community’s first preschool and kindergarten programs was introduced by St. John’s. With the completion of the activity center in 1982, St. John’s expanded its current facility and today serves students in the preschool through 8th grade programs. Our small classroom setting allows for specialized attention for our students. St. John’s curriculum includes a focus on faith and is developed by an experienced Christian staff; offering a Christ-centered, accredited education.
We invite you to consider St. John’s Lutheran School for your child’s education, preschool through 8th grade.
The mission of this congregation is to SERVE God and to GROW His Kingdom by preaching, teaching, and studying His Word, and to SHARE the love of our risen Lord and Savior.
